You have options for where you can receive IMAAVY™ treatment:
Your doctor's office (if available)
An infusion clinic
Your home
Use the Infusion Center Finder† to find an infusion clinic near your home or workplace.
Your Nurse Navigator can help you find an option that works best for you.
Knowing what to expect can help you get into a treatment routine. Here are the basics:
Your IMAAVY™ treatment will occur once every 2 weeks
You can expect to be at the treatment site 1 hour or longer
Bring a caregiver along
While there are no driving restrictions after treatment, it’s recommended to have a caregiver drive or travel with you to and from treatment.
You should plan on being at the treatment site for about an hour or longer. During this time, you can do something that helps you relax:
Read a book
Catch up on emails
Chat with a friend
Watch videos
Take a short nap
Don’t forget your devices
If you bring your smartphone or laptop, be sure to also bring a charger and earbuds or headphones. Check with the treatment site if there’s a Wi-Fi password for guests.
